ISO 80369-3 Figure C.1 and C.2 Female Reference Connectors

ISO 80369-3 Small-Bore Connectors for Liquids and Gases in Healthcare Applications – Part 3: Connectors for Enteral Applications; Annex C; Figure C.1 and Figure C.2 define the Female Reference Connectors are used in the tests specified in ISO 80369-3, Clause 6. Keeping with the experienced requirements of the medical industry; these ISO 80369-3 Figure C.1 and C.2 Female Reference Connectors are made from hardened stainless steel.

The ISO 80369-3 Figure C.1 and Figure C.2 Female Reference Connectors have design details which are not specified in ISO 80369-3 and which allow connection to test equipment. These design details vary by manufacturer. With the addition of an adapter the various designs will all work with the Enersol Test Equipment. The photos above help illuminate these design differences.

ISO 80369-3; Clause 6.5 – Resistance to Overriding
To conduct the Resistance to Overriding test found in ISO 80369-3 clause 6.5 the following Enersol products are required:
